Mustard Seed Overview:
The Mustard Seed programme is a process centred retreat, bringing groups through an experiential learning process.
"The mustard seed, which indeed is smaller than all seeds but, when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches."
For over 25 years, Mustard Seed have been travelling the country working with young people and parish groups, encouraging those we've worked with to explore their faith and what it means to them.
The Mustard Seed programme is a process centred retreat, working to meet the needs of the group as they present themselves. We explore with them to see where they are as a group, and address them from their, acknowledging that every individual has different experiences leading them to where they are now.
We achieve this through an experiential learning process, from a focus on outside influence, to a focus on who they are in relation to Others, Themselves and thence to finding a personal relationship with God.
These 3 main focus points shape the day similarly for any group we work with, but the exercises, reflections and discussions are of course different for every group, depending on age, life experience, and the needs they express.
